Overview, Objectives and Target Audience The purpose of these 2-day courses is to provide extensive scientific and hands-on experience in laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS).

Lectures will review principles, rational and potential advantages of this emerging minimally invasive approach. LESS application and data from key opinion leader will be discussed with international faculty.

Video session will illustrate specific surgical procedures.

Course faculty will demonstrate patient and operative room set-up, ports and instruments use, as well as Tips & Tricks during live LESS surgery.

Participants will learn to use LESS instrumentations and ports during surgical tasks on wet-labs and cadavers. Course participants will be able to perform LESS cholecystectomy, at least, when leaving the course.
