Surcical investigations unit

The Visceral and Transplantation Surgery Department own two laboratories were we conduct our researches:

• the isolation and cellular tranplant laboratory
• the organ preservation laboratory

Under the direction of Professor Philippe Morel, researches in the following fields have been developed:

• Allo- et Xenotransplantation
• Stem Cells
• Microencapsulation
• Pancreatic islets
• Surgical Hepatology
• Organ perfusion
